Start a Fire in Any Condition. Every Time.
Matches get wet. Lighters run out of fuel. A ferro rod never fails. The Peakstone Ferro Rod Kit produces a 5,500°F spark with a single strike — in rain, snow, wind, or altitude. No fuel, no batteries, no excuses.
- 5,500°F strike temperature — ignites tinder, char cloth, birch bark, cotton balls, and fire starters instantly
- Paracord-wrapped handle — the handle itself is 3 feet of Type III 550 paracord — unravel it when you need cordage
- 12,000+ strike lifespan — one rod lasts years of regular backcountry use
- Works wet — unlike matches or lighters, a ferro rod functions when completely soaked
- Includes steel striker + lanyard — ready to use out of the box
